In light of the need to postpone the original face-to-face conference in Cape Town by one year to 2022, we’re pleased to host a virtual WCRI event on the original dates in 2021. From 30 May – 2 June 2021, we will host a series of webinars on six engaging and relevant topics as a precursor to our live event in 2022. These discussions will form part of the broader RI dialogue, and set a foundation we hope to build on in Cape Town when the RI community gather to – at long last – meet in person. Each topic will be broadcast live via webinar in two different time slots. This is to ensure that as many delegates as possible from around the world and in different time zones are able to participate. The sessions are free of charge and will take place via Zoom.
The theme of the conference is ‘Fostering Research Integrity in an Unequal World’. We are confident that the 7th WCRI will be interesting and relevant to Research Integrity stakeholders across all disciplinary fields from the basic and applied natural and biomedical sciences to the humanities and social sciences. Important RI stakeholders include researchers, institutional leaders, national and international policy makers, funders and journals.
